Prospective Photographers

All-Pro Reels is always looking for skilled, reliable photographers to join our credentialed coverage team across Washington, DC sports and events. If you're interested in shooting for a growing wire service, we'd like to hear from you.

What We're Looking For

• Ability to shoot, edit, caption, and transmit images on-site and on deadline
• Professional-grade digital camera body and a range of telephoto/wide-angle lenses
• Reliable availability for assigned games and events

Expectations

• Follow instructions and guidelines set by APR staff
• Accept and apply constructive feedback on shooting style and technique
• Write accurate, complete captions - caption quality matters as much as image quality
• Conduct yourself professionally at all credentialed events

Equipment Guidelines

• Canon, Nikon, or Sony professional DSLR or mirrorless camera body (within the last 10 years)
• A 300mm or longer lens (prime or professional-grade zoom) for football, baseball, soccer, and golf
• 70-200mm f/2.8 zoom and a wide-angle zoom (24-70mm range) as standard kit
• Laptop with WiFi/Ethernet, current OS, photo editing and captioning software
• Reliable method for fast image transmission on deadline
